Race under the rain in the Grand Prix of Germany, at Sachsenring circuit. The Ongetta Rivacold Racing team aligned today just Jules Danilo, following the crash in the qualifying caused by the oil on the track which prevented his teammate Niccolò Antonelli from participating in the race. The young French rider, starting from the seventh position on the grid, managed his race in a smart way, in difficult track conditions and on a tricky tarmac. Jules, who grew up exponentially in the last races, succeeded even today to close in the top ten, by crossing the finishing line in ninth position.
Jules Danilo: “I am really happy about this race, especially because in the past, with the rain, I never got good results. This morning during the warm up I understood that my pace was not too bad but, honestly, I was not convinced to be able to get the top ten today. At half race I had some difficulties and I risked to crash several times but then the feeling came back and I kept my rhythm and the position until the end. In general, I am satisfied of the whole weekend as I am fast even when turning alone and for the future, this is the most important data“.
